APRIL 12, 2009 -- Official Founding Date of the Dominican Sisters of Peace

April 14 - Founding Event -- St. Louis, Missouri

A celebration of the founding of the new congregation.

April 15-21 - First General Chapter of the New Congregation

A gathering of sisters from all seven of the former Dominican communities will gather to elect a leadership team (prioress and councilors), and to set direction for the new congregation.

August 8 - Installation of the New Leadership Team for the New Congregation

The elected prioress and councilors will assume their respective duties with offices at the new central house in Columbus, OH
