DOMINICAN ALLIANCE

Two Congregations of the Dominican Alliance recently held election.  After prayer and discernment the following were elected to serve their congregations:

DOMINICANS OF GREAT BEND, KANSAS

On February 20, 2006 the following sisters were called to serve their congregation:
Sr. Lorena Bolte, OP, Prioress;
Sr. Rene Weeks, OP, Assistant Prioress;
Sr. Betty Werner, OP, Sr. Amy McFrederick, OP and Sr. Diane Traffas, OP as General Councilors.
Their term of office begins June 1, 2006.
 

DOMINICANS OF GRAND RAPIDS

February 26, 2006 the following were called forth to serve for the next six years::
Sister Nathalie Meyer was elected Prioress;
Sister Maureen Geary was elected Vicaress;
Sister Joyce Ann Hertzig and Sister Mary Navarre were elected Councilors.
The new leadership team will assume their responsibilities on July 1, 2006.
