SOLIDARITY WITH AFRICAN DOMINICANS TAKES A NEXT STEP |

| Thanks to the generosity of the Dominican Alliance Congregations, the Dominican Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Zambia will soon be able to communicate via e-mail. The five Alliance representatives who visited the Zambian Sisters in April, 2000, recommended as a first step toward improving communication and building relationships, that the Alliance contribute sufficient funds to purchase a computer and Internet provider service for each of their eight houses in Zambia. Enough money was sent to purchase computers for each house in Zambia and one in Kenya. Reports are that the Zambian Sisters are thrilled, and say that they will be in touch as soon as the research is completed and the computers are installed. |
