EXPLORE

We come to a point in our life when we want to set our feet in a particular direction.  We believe that as followers of Jesus, we want to direct our feet toward God and that when we make our decision we want God to have a voice in that decision.  There are many life-choices in our Catholic tradition: married life, single life, or the life of a sister, priest or brother.

Maybe you don't know if you are being called to be a religious sister, but you know that something is stirring within you.  We would be willing to talk with you and help you to explore the possibilities.

Part of exploring involves information gathering, talking with other people, visiting religious sisters, and learning about the various kinds of religious communities to see if their mission and their spirit resonate with your own.    We call this exploration discernment.

Every vocation weather it is to the married life, single life or religious life is a serious life choice calling for life long commitment.  The decision should not be made in hast or under pressure.  The choice should be made slowly and with serious deliberation.  Prayer is a key part of the discernment process.

We are ready to share information and answer your questions as well as provide opportunities that you want or need.  We realize that often the initial contact is a sensitive area and because of that uour confidentiality is respected.

We would continue to stay in touch with you and also tell you about opportunities for you to meet with other woman who are also exploring the possibility of a vocation in vowed religious li
